| This is a lap sized friendship quilt made for the late Dr. Dimpna Clarin on her retirement. Dimpna was the head of the music department at South Suburban College in South Holland, Illinois. Although it's not clear from the picture, all the fabrics had a musical theme, and the quilt was signed by many students, past and present. |  |

| The "kids swap" quilt I made for Ethan. The swap was based on picking out a square of fabric one liked, and drawing a picture on fabric of the same size; I swapped with folks whose chronological age approximated my emotional age, and used the products of the swap for Ethan's quilt, adding a center block that says it's Ethan's quilt. |  |
