| Probably the second best known Indian style of patchwork is Seminole work. Seminole work is traditionally used for making clothing, and its use in quilting is actually more of a non-Indian development; however, it does lend itself to quilts rather nicely. |  |
 | Another style is an applique pattern known as Indian Girl or Indian Doll: the Indian answer to Sunbonnet Sue. She wears her dance shawl as she dances away from us. This particular piece was inspired by the corn fabric, and shows Corn Mother surrounded by Indian women, dancing for Corn Mother. |

Another variation is to use a non-Indian pattern, but make it Indian in some fashion by naming or quilting styles used: This quilt pattern is known traditionally as "Card Tricks", but this particular quilt is quilted in circles and medicine wheels, and is named 50-50 in honor of the fundraising 50 50 drawings at powwow. |  |
